The sky is blue, and our hearts are full. It’s hard to put in words. While walking in the forests on trails, I saw many families out there enjoying time with their kids. There is no set limit on spending as much time as possible. So, don’t be a lazy slob; get out there and enjoy the moment! Winter is almost knocking at the door, and the conditions are amazing!
Better Bits of RiverOak
There are not only fire pits but also a hiking path that circles the ice-skating rink. Guess what I was watching there, Dogs!! This means you can get your dogs together with your friends and family. Although I am not a hockey fan, I have seen nets available for hockey games. Not only that, but I’ve seen people skate with sticks and pucks there.
Easy Accessibility
It’s not even that difficult to get there; it’ll only take you 40 minutes by car out to Ottawa, and it’ll be pretty easy to navigate, thanks to the signs posted near the building. Prices have been raised on the website, but if you’re busy and can’t get a ticket, you can book them online. If the parking lot is crowded, you can even pay for the parking space.

Note: The skating trails have dim lighting, so it’s a good idea to bring a headlamp for nighttime skating. Please note that the snowshoe and hiking trails do not have any lighting.
